Welcome! We are glad you are here! Our mission is to bring beauty, and joy and provide a stress-free day full of unforgettable memories for your special occasions. From birthdays, and anniversaries, to business events and grand openings; we design and create the most beautiful organic balloon displays and flower installations. In addition, we offer a selection of stunning and one-of-a-kind pieces for rent; all tailored to your needs. With our attention to detail and commitment to excellence, we guarantee a celebration that will delight you and your loved ones, and would be honored to form part of your special occasion!
The idea of Boon and Blooms began in the Spring of 2023 while decorating for my son's eighth birthday. During the party planning process, I thought a balloon garland would be a fun way to add a pop of color. It was during the process of creating the arrangement that I realized how much I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Once that spark was ignited, I immersed myself in the world of balloon art through research and courses and I fell in love with it all. As a creative, I could not be more excited to have an outlet to create and provide beautifully and thoughtfully designed displays for special occasions through Boon and Blooms.

Hi! My name is Kathy Peña. I am originally from Guatemala City, and I have a bachelor's degree in Business and Hotel Administration. After graduating, I had the opportunity to work in my field, in the Department of Sales and Event Planning at the Marriott Guatemala City Hotel, where I thrived in planning and decorating the many social events that were hosted there. My passion for party decorating only grew when I had my first child. I DIY-ed each birthday party, celebrated every holiday, and assisted in all of my friends' birthdays. Today, I continue with my love for party planning and have also developed a joy for photography, baking, and engraving-- having started a business in engraving for luxury fragrances in Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, and Macy's.
I draw my inspiration from nature, places, and people that I admire. One such person is Martha Stewart, whom I had the privilege to learn from and meet when I attended the American Made Summit in New York City. What an inspiration!
Currently I live in Sugar Hill GA, I am married and have two kids and a dog, Thank you again for being here, have a bless day!
